Mounted right to the transom. I don't have a low water nose cone so didn't want to take the chance. Maybe next yr nose cone and jp. Not on my top list of prodigies though.

With the 26 laser 2 and 2 1/2" above the transom you shoud be mid to high 70s. It is mounted to the transom rite or do you have a jp

Have you ran compression on the motor, might be a little weak?

I did the core, floor and transom last year, so nice and solid. That's around where I hope to run should be just enough to get the hull to fly. I wouldn't mind finding a bigger stream at some point something with some room to move and not have to climb over someone just to get to the motor. Other than that great boat fun ride and of course. All the questions I get when I'm out in it.

My dad ran a 22 pitch laser2 on a inline 115 and got 51 out of it on his Varmint, those are some good props. How is your core, floor and transome in your boat. Your setup should be netting in the high 60s to low 70s

Boat seems to run fine. Rpms a bit high the 24 p chopper isn't enough. I got 56 on GPS with just me in boat but the other day had a passenger only ran 43 MPH. Water was higher in the river with a stronger current I'm sure doesn't help. I know the vector with a 150 is a good set up just need to get there.

I have ran a 25 pitch ballistic 4 blade on my varmint around 73 mph, I'm running a 26 pitch offshore cut chopper mid 70s. I know the varmint uses the same hull as the vector but is a little heavier, but also I'm running 5" setback and prop shaft even with the pad, like you I'm also running a mariner 150. Before I got the low water pickup and jacked my motor up I borrowed a 28 chopper and ran 77 mph. Is your boat at that speed acting up or you just running to many rpms

Laser 2 prop?

Any thoughts on running a 26 p laser 2 prop? I have a vector with a 150 HP mariner 2 1/2" up on the transom. Right now I'm running a 24 p chopper that I got a great deal on and its not enough only got 56 MPH on GPS. I know most guys run the 28 p chopper not sure I need all that for what I do.
