Hey, welcome to the forum.
You write a good ad, and the price seems good too.

Pictures, detailed pictured showing the good and bad will motivate folks more than anything else I can think of.

If you want, consider selling the old motor separately. A lot of people will shun the 35 yr old OMC. It'll be considered too heavy and too weak to put back on a newly rebuilt Vking.

And besides, it's early in the season, it'll sell.

Best of luck.

Nearly 75 views on this nearly complete $1500.00 project V-king for sale with current paperwork ! No comments and only one guy has asked for some more info ??? Is there just low interest in restoring these anymore? Price to high ? Offers ? Too far away from Hydrostream country? A jet or V- drive in this same condition and price would be long gone...Help me out! What does it take to find this iconic V-King project an enthusiastic new owner who will restore it ? Somebody needs and wants this ! Thanks for any insight

Hydrostream
18' V-King / Viking
1980:
$1500.00:
I have decided to sell my Hydrostream V-King project since I think I'm just not up to performing the needed re-core and transom work along with other projects in life. I have gotten as far as removing the floor. This is a complete boat minus a gas tank and battery. It has a running 1979 Evinrude 200 on it that shifts fine and had no sign of water in lower unit. 19 pitch ski prop is included. Trailer is a factory made heavy duty single axle with decent tires. Original seats. No hull damage of any note. All gages work. The dual cable steering is smooth. Tilt and trim system does not work but the pump sounds good. probably just needs some new seals. All Arizona paperwork for hull and permanent trailer plate is current. I remounted motor after I removed the floor and decided to sell it. For only $1500 a guy who can do the work will get a nearly complete V-King, motor , and trailer. I'm having problems uploading photos and motor running video so if interested text me your email address. Boat is located in Tucson, Az. and ready to be towed home a by new owner. Thanks Pete
