I’m really not sure what “old” versus “new” is. Ie hull design change etc.
I have a 2002 Speath built vegas hull which I gather a rather light or not much there interior.
I had called their shop once asking about something..John immediately knew the hull..seems there was something about an employee or ex.. or something that originally had it built.
I really like it as is. No issues or problems.
I have some pics..boat is put away, but still on the property if you wanted to compare measurements etc.

There is a new one in our club. I have a 91 with a stock 200 and he has a 300sx. I think he was in the high 90s and I'm in the upper 80s. I can take him in the 1/4 but I think I have more time in set up.

As far as the boat I haven't seen his out of the water but he thought the bottom was the same or real similar. The cap is different.

Has anyone out the had the opportunity to compare the performance of the old vs new Vegas? Are the new just updated mayterials, deck and interior or is there more to it?
