no pics, but we had a little flat bottom aluminum boat with a 15 johnson on it. that thing was wicked because it was so light. boat and motor combined were under 200 pounds. then, my buddies little inflatable zodiac with a 15 mariner was even more fun. 30 mph felt like 70 mph in a viper. the difference is we could burn 6 gallons of gas for 3 hours.

The brown 1980 Glastron Carlson cv 16 ss is identical to the one that my grandpa and i rebuilt ....had a 140....topped out at around 52 MPH

Same here. Well, kinda. The Jet was free and its in really good shape so Im gonna do something with it. The safe family boat. :mrgreen:

Next though I wanna do a vking or if I can find a hustler, voo-doo, or a vixen. I would like to get something small I can have some fun in and also something for when the little one is a bit bigger. Thinking ahead. I will have a stream farm some day though hopefully. :lol:

Here is the boat that started it all for me. I was happy with 58 mph until I went out with the guys in the race club and learned what a fast boat was. It's been all streams since.

10" jackplate, 6" tilt = 16" off trans. it allows you to raise the motor to get up and run in hardly any water (roughly every inch up, you go 2 back to keep in the waters path off the bottom of boat) makes it a lil tricky turning hard right :shock:
motor has 60 carbs and exhaust cut.

fun boat to run ditches at about 40mph! :boating:
