I'll be flipping it to work the pad.

The pad and hull of the Valero is the same as a V-King.

The pad is flat, not concave, and should run straight - no hook or wedge.

1987 Canadian Edition (Hydrostream) Valero V-bottom pad!!!!

Hi!!
I purchased from a friend a Valero with V-bottom 2 years ago. The pad was worked on with resin and it was done badly, it's an 87'. Could someone let me know if it was a flat pad or concave.....hooked or not? Also any recommendations on what's the best shape on the pad for these boats. I have a Johnson 150GT, nose cone with low water pick up, 27P DAH Chopper worked over with heavy cupping. Just need some guidance.

Thanks
John B.
