It's going to be expensive swapping mids and driveshafts and I don't think it will work all that well. In my opinion you would be better off finding a 200 fishing motor.

im realy hopeing to use my 3 liter on my viper, but i cant find any info on performance parts, or more important a shorter lower unit. its a 99 merc 3.0 efi 250 2 stroke blue water series. im not looking to buy anything yet, just looking for whats avalible for this motor, so i can estimate a budjet. it will be a few months before the viper is ready for it anyway. tx mike
