Motor has than boring over a man that use to race built it is a 76 model 200 ,,, but transom is solid it does not move any , I think I'm having prop problem I really don't know what would be best prop for that boat that 20 pitch is not enough prop it throws the whole boat out of the water on take off just no top end not like I think it should be

Raising the motor hurts your bow lift it will cause boat to run flatter. When you lift the motor up you also cause more stern lift. If boat is solid, trim motor all the way up and push down on lower unit as hard as you can if you see the transom flex any at all the transom is bad. sounds like you have either wrong prop or a worn out prop. Props due wear out and when they due,. you will have performance issues. Also boring a motor oversize does not give it anymore power, if it does it is so minute you will not notice.

No it trims up I put a 24 pitch power tech 4 blade on it yesterday and it turned the prop and had a lot more lift when I would stomp it it would stay up better with that prop but loose in the tail end , the 20 pitch ran 55mph pretty straight didn't gps the 24 gonna run it again weekend

The only 2 reasons I can think of for your issue are the boat is severely overweight or the transom is flexing. I'd say it's time to have a good look at the boat

The cavitation plate on foot is even with the notch bottom above the actual pad

Seems solid , has a solid sound and I can mash down on it and it will throw the boat out of the water but at 40 -50 there is water spray all the way up to the front till u hit about 56 it pops up and seem like it on pad cause it's starts trying to chine
