I'm turning 7000 plus with stock coils, aftermarket stator and regulator, works just fine. I have CDI parts on my XRI EFI

89 xr4 150. i dropped spark on 3 cylinders this weekend. 2 0n port, 1 on starborad. my local boat guy says its cuz i spin to many rpms (6500-7000) he says the extra current put out by added rpms is overloading the system. he wants me to replace everything with aftermarket parts that are made for the extra rpms.(stator, trigger, powerpacks, coils) just want to know what you all think. and if somebody could refer me to a website that might sell these parts so i can do a price comparsion.
tx mike
