GOT MY 1983 VECTOR IN APRIL.....LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT......NEVER HAD A BOAT BEFORE..... #1.....be careful. People that have not driven these boats before can be dangerous. Dont go faster than your skills allow. If you have never had one, its not like driving normal boats.

I think your onto something. I have a rude 2.6 liter that when trimmed all the way down seems to "flood" a little bit, when I trim up, it "cleans up" some. I always thought it was the float adj.....just too lazy to fix it.LOL.
