Please don't type with your capslock on. There's no need to yell.
I already replied to your "boat colors" thread you created in the Forums Lounge.

Re: Core replacement questions. Two boats.

.....takes on zero water ever. My question is the core. Everyone seems to have a problem, but being such a rare find with no time on her at all do you think it's even an issue to consider? The boat never sat in the water and he said it had under 60 hours on it total.... Water can saturate the core ...

Re: Vector build with pics

My Viper's 1/2" or 5/8" (i never measured, just a guess) plywood floor "ended" at the foot rest under the dash, as did the fiberglass keelbox. The "floor" past the footrest was just a triangular sheet of fiberglass with no wood structure under it, so it wasn't really adding any strength. However thi...

Re: 1980 Viper Rebirth

Possibly. The only concern after all the grinding is done is money. 2 week shutdown at work means 2 weeks with no paycheque ("paycheck" for those that don't understand Canadian). I have about $1200 set aside for materials. Hopefully I can stretch it far enough to get the bulk of the structural work ...

Re: 1980 Viper Rebirth

Sunday December 10th, 2017: Not much to update. Just been grinding grinding grinding. I have almost all of the bottom done - then have to do the transom and sides. Then the glasswork begins. http://www.adadk.ca/viper/Dec10-2017/SAM_0827.JPG http://www.adadk.ca/viper/Dec10-2017/SAM_0828.JPG http://w...

Re: Question(s) for Ron aka alaskastreamin...

Thanks Ron.

Yes, I'll be using vinylester resin. Epoxy just isn't in my budget, and we pay through the nose for materials here in Canada. (1 gallon of VE resin is $70 - West 105 epoxy is even more at $130 a gallon)

Question(s) for Ron aka alaskastreamin...

Hey Ron, can I pick your brain for a few questions? I'm restoring a Viper and my plan for my build is going to be a Frankenstein of how you did yours and how proprider did his. I'm fairly confident that doing the interior structure won't be an issue, however, my hull is pretty beat up on the outside...
