Definitely a lot of foam. Wet, heavy foam. I didn't put it back. Planning to use the area they were occupying for a cargo/grocery net type storage. Fire extinguisher, nav lights, small cooler or 2. i actually just went ahead & put it back as before. Overall im not sure it would have hurt it to leave the foot well. Figured, I've come this far in the process so why leave it to chance. The vector, what i removed from mine anyway, had the floor to the dash like your viper, the step up extending 1"...

So vectors originally came with the floor one level up to just in front of the seats or at the bulkhead.
