I was visiting my Dad and came across this old video that Howard had sent him. It was a test of one of the very first production Valero YTs (the tape calls the boat a Valero XT - possibly done before the official naming although the 1985 brochure calls it a YT...who knows). Here are some pics I took. My Dad had two boats in the race. The HST (which I'm going to be refurbishing and drag racing) is being driven by Larry Guimond from Kankakee, IL and the Yellow Alli-Shot is being driven by my Dad.
