Sorry I have not been on here lately. I have completed the stringers and all on the boat. I am curious about the engine mounting position in relation to the transom, Should the engine extend lower or be even? I found a web site for a factory in Tennessee, is this who I would contact for the balsa core material? I also managed to get 50% of my core out, it was wet. I think i need about another 3 or 4 hours to finish stripping the core and stringers.

New to hydrostreams-P.T.
I recently purchased a hydro stream vulture 83. Unfortunately it has rotten stringers and I suspect the core also. I am curious as to what materials are used, is it the balsam wood?
