Re: Vector rebuild help

Welcome to the forum. I wouldn't use 2 year old polyester resin to do a core, it has a shelf life of a year at best. Fresh resin should be a nice pink-red color nut brown at all. I can't tell you what exactly happens as it gets old but I do know how hard it would be to remove if there is a problem. ...

Re: Three Lakes Shootout Role Call

I'm buying a drag boat that needs just a little loving but I'm also planning on picking up a vector for when I return for good. The vector will be cut up but will be a lake boat.

Post a lot of pictures please. All I see over here is center counsels and big heavy boats.

Re: Three Lakes Shootout Role Call

I will not be able to make it this year but I'm training and plan to swim back for next year lol

My plans are to come back for the umpba race in Albert Lee in September. I'll be back for a week at this time but next year I'll be back for Three lakes with a new boat and a month off to test.

Re: Rare Canadian Edition AE21 I/O prototype

Welcome to the forum. That is a one of a kind boat but those are not always desirable. If a person wanted to put a outboard on it there would be a lot of work just to get it to the point of something they could buy already done. Plus it needs a recore and those two things will kill the resale. Trail...

Re: WTB: Rideguide Steering cable

I have been offered to buy a large lot of new old stock of Mercury and Mariner parts in Abu-dhabi just this week. There is just so many parts it's overwhelming, I just snapped a couple pictures as I went through the warehouse. I have asked for a inventory list and should have it soon, I'm just start...

Re: WTB: Rideguide Steering cable

What do these cables go for on average? I found these and can buy them dirt cheap but shipping would be a killer!

Re: New kid on the block.

It's hard to say but I will take a guess at 100 hours? I've been told some guys can do it in a weekend but have yet to see it. I enjoy working with fiberglass and have done some extensive projects and at some point in the build I wanted to give up. All that goes away the first time on the water. [ P...
