Re: New 1991 Vasserette Owner in Oregon
Welcome, Like Bill said, you're asking the right questions. I think that the flush rig you are looking for is available at Bob's Machine Shop (online). As far as the quality issues in certain years, I've heard that too. The real question is...What shape is your core in? They are all susceptible to f...

Re: 76 Hydrostream Ventura II SE - Restore Project
Hey, I want to say Hi to a fellow Texan. You have a nice piece of Stream history and it's a family boat too. Could your gear ratio have been changed when the lower unit was rebuilt? Meanwhile, here's a page that will discuss a ...

Re: Fuel Tank
Welcome,
the brochure says that the '84 came with a 16 gallon (aluminum) tank. An aftermarket tank will probably be easy to find, just make sure you can mount it very near the transom as the factory did.
(Why are gas tanks so expensive?)

Re: 04 Vegas XT Set up
Hey there, welcome. That's an interesting question, Solid mounts, tight steering, some set back, and a chopper prop will help handling but won't necessarily eliminate chine walk. You have a newer XT. It is maybe heavier and your a little underpowered, so you may not see much improvement in spee...
