Well check out linkage as this is not the throttle set up that was onit before it is a hand throttle and Merc man this motor is being sold so I can work on my 350mag so selling rude to fix merc :| .I have had them all and there all good motors just dependx on the app same with 4wheelers and dirt bik...

Well guys I got my 98 200 evinrude out of storage and rigged it on a boat only to find it needed a cdi so i put one on it went thru the carbs and it runs great on top end but is alittle doggy on bottum end but only for a second and then off you go . But here is the kicker when you put it in reverse ...

I have owned both black and blue and find mercs have more hop up parts avai but my evinrudes have always run longer with less problems just my opinion . Boat looks nice though.

Its the core were talking about not the hull glass . Inless you or the other boat shops have seen a rotten core it truley can't be explained .
