Not trying to ask a million questions. But would they be of any use on a xt hull or were they only used on v pad? If they are of value on a xt hull put me down for a set.

I had a 1965 110 merc on the vector I had. I tried a 24 pitch chopper it wouldn't turn it well. I did run 52 mph on gps with it. I didn't play with the 110 for long. Found a 150 mounted to the transom. I think 2 1/2" up with a small hub laser2 26 pitch. Hit 70 mph no problem. If you look at Hyd...

Thanks for the input. I do have a land and sea nose cone that was on it when I got the 150. However it was installed poorly so I took it off. What should I use to put it back on? Hydraulic steering, no toque tab, going to order solid mounts. What about a hydrofoil? Will that help at all? I was looking at bobs true track tracker.

I bought a venus xt last fall. I'm running a 150 mariner with 6" set Back and prop 2 1/2" below pad with lazer 2 24 pitch as suggested on Hydrostream history page. Runs at 5800 rpm but I can only get high 40's maybe 50 mph. Any suggestion ? Besides more power, funds are dried up this yr. I...

Hmm? Mine didn't have a foot well. I know I ran my floor up under the dash so I could mount the foot throttle in a more comfortable position.
