vector and jack plate setback??
Well the merc 110hp doesn't do it for me. I just got a 150hp gt mariner low water nose cone with a jack plate with set back. Should I use jack plate w the setback or just mount tight to transom? From what I've read the vector doesn't line the set back. Anyone with experiance would be a big help. I'm...

My 1st hydrostream and the floor is soft. From what I've read the core will be bad also. I have also found a soft spot on the transom :(. So I'm not afraid to do the work at all. My big question is. Is it best to seperate the top from the hule? And what is easier seperating or cuting out the splash ...

No. But experienced the wet sand and buff with 4 wax coats :( faded back within a week. I did find a. Fiberglass restore clear that is suposed to do the trick! Can't remember what the company was. I'm sure if you do a search on net you can find it. I might try it this winter or just re gelcoat or pa...

Thanks! and Hello. bought a 80 vector with a 175 Johnson end of June. Now it has a 110 merc, 1st maiden voyage today! long story..... anyway i will be doing a re-core this winter, and have a lot of set up work to do. Looks like this is the place to go for advice!
