Re: Steering cable on Voyager
Being a 20 foot boat, they have to be a lot longer than 12 or 13 feet. Off hand im not sure but I know the ones on my Vulture (20 foot boat also) are 18 feet. I would bet prob around 16 feet maybe. Might have to pull one off and measure it. What type of steering is it? If its a TeleFlex, them are ea...

Re: Faster Prop for V-King
Set back is the jack plate that bolts to the transom that you bolt the motor too. As for not having a cone on the lower, raise the motor up as high as you can without loosing water pressure. Blocking off the top one or two water intake holes on the lower can also help get it up higher without loosin...

Re: Faster Prop for V-King
The transom could be the reason. Whats your set up like? Set back, motor height (prop shaft to pad), nose cone with low water pickup?, etc....

Re: Need new HST cover
I have a universal cover on my boat and my kids. His fits good being a smaller boat (Hydrostream Vixen), but my vulture, not so much. The boat being 20 feet, any universal cover is so big/baggy on it as these boats are such shallow boats. I would never tow with mine on there. My kids I might but his...

Welcome! Sweet looking boat. I personally don't have any experience with a Vision but a few guy here do. Hopefully they will chime in.

Re: Recore question
I'll be honest, I dont remember how I did my Vulture. Its been like 8 years since I redid it. Sadly it still hasnt hit the water. This year though. I think we wet the hull real good and wet the back side of the core real good and laid it down. Could maybe use some thickened resin or corebond to elim...
