Quicksilver synthetic blend at 40:1 has had my 2.0 150 running good. Almost no maintenance so far. Rarely gets plugs, and never rebuilt carbs in several years..

That's a perfect option for you, and it should get you close to 80 with a good setup and if the motor is healthy

absolutely not without a low water pickup cone.. put that cone on it, and an et prop, or even a chopper should work good with the 3 inch jack plate. if you have no windshield a cleaver would be better most likely. bolt on the low water pickup case and set the propshaft a little above the pad when th...

you have the right jackplate, thats a good start, and also a decent power plant.. should see 70 ish, maybe more or less with a good setup. do you have a low water pickup, solid motor mounts, and dual cable steering?
