has anyone found a quick way to get the good balsa core off the hull? the rotton stuff either falls out easy or take very little force but there is a fair amount of good balsa that i cant even dig into with a screwdriver. how do you guys get that junk out?

did a bit more work. cut out the floor up in the nose and a bunch of the float boxes. windshield is off. did some sanding. i was shocked when i saw how much foam they managed to pack in this little boat.

She fires right up and prrs like a kitten. I haven't taken a actual compression reading but my uncle who's worked on all types of engines his whole life said it felt really strong. He's built everything from hi performance 2 strokes to Keith blacks in pulling truck who run the circuit. I'm going to...

how much, and what thickness balsa core will i be using? and i should be able to get marine plywood from home depot?
