Comp has 4 to 6 stringers and most don't have a floor, the steering is in the center. There will be others that will post more on them

I lay 2oz mat down first then the core, that just how I done it. Sounds like you have a pretty good plan, keep up the good work and post pictures of the progress

Looking good, now the real fun, grinding lol. If you look back at some of the older threads you'll see my dads Vking (1979 Vking post)and where someone before cut through the hull. I have to agree on needing a transom, a properly installed and glassed in transom you would not have the stress cracks and would hold up to a much larger power source, keep us posted

That foam looks like it was added later in life, possibly weak spots in the floor and previous owner tried to strengthen it by filling with the foam
