The 100 will get you to 70, but has to be propped stiff at around 5400, no more. The problem with both those motors is the flabby mounts and horrible gearcase profile. There is nothing wrong with using composites and foam core when done properly. Chris at Michigan Fiberglas has started making composite board for floors and bulkheads again. My HST and one of my vipers are done in composities and I've had NO issues with what other "experts" ballyhoo about....
