Re: 2003 Vegas ,new Mercury v8 225 hp
The new 2018 4S Merc' 225HP is a V6, not a V8. Of the new 2018 4S family, 175HP-225HP V6 weight = 475 lbs. 250+HP V8 weight = 670 lbs. By comparison, the early 2000's model Mercurys. ProMax 300X (320HP, 3.0L V6) = 470 lbs. The ever popular 225 ProMax (and it's variants) = 375 lbs. There's a guy in N...

Re: Partial recore on a vector maybe.
It's a Vector. Vking has panels that go from the deck to the floor on both sides next to the front seats. You should also see 3 lifting strakes on the hull. VKings only have 2. Vectors pad is concave, like the bottom of a water ski. VKings are flat. [ Post made via Android ] http://www.hydrostreamfo...

Re: Partial recore on a vector maybe.
Does the boat still have the coast guard capacity plate attached? If not, the HIN (serial number) should be stamped into the gelcoat on the outside of the transom on the upper right side. The HIN will identify which model you have, and it's year of manufacture. [ Post made via Android ] http://www.h...
