Re: vector 115 merc
Best overall combination without getting silly on the money is, if you are typically running this by yourself, raise the motor so that the propshaft is about 1 1/2 - 2 inches below the "pad." Get some bondo and fill in the top two water inlets, so that your bottom holes will be sucking all...

vandal and parts for sale
selling a vandal with title, core has been removed, $400 comes with resin, wood, and carbon fibre to do the job full interior from a viper, pretty nice, probably an honest 8 or 8.5 out of 10. bucket seats, rear bench, and side pads $250 Nydahl complete steering (cable/pulley) with Nydahl shifter and...

Re: HYDROSTREAM VKING, OWNED BY RON BAKER
Forgive me for seeming crazy, but I cannot bring myself to actually sell the boat. I just can't. It is too cool to have, and if I let it go, I won't get it back. The wife helped me see this. Having stated that, I am going to sell my Viper I have owned since 2002. Clean original boat, for being a 198...

HYDROSTREAM VKING, OWNED BY RON BAKER
As some of you know, i bought Ron Bakers Vking close to 4 years ago, prior to his getting sick. I had every intention on restoring, but time, once again, has gotten in the way. The boat has been stored with nose up to keep dry, and needs cosmetics, paint and interior. This boat was last raced about ...

Re: Almost 90 MPH
yeah, a 150 on an 18 footer at 80ish is doing great, unless the motor is seriously warmed up. i have noticed, after looking at one poster above, that is seems like the vking yt's are always running at 80-84 with 150-175 hp. they are always right at that number. i noticed also with the vipers that if...

Re: Vector vs Viper
i will respectfully disagree with some, the vector is much easier to drive with a v6 than a viper, at high speeds. the balance of the vector with more weight up front handles the weight better, especially if you are talking about a viper1, not a viper2. wilbur weeks, waynes father, who built the mot...
