Re: 98 rude dies in rev
Gear change in reverse binding with throttle/timing linkage? Just trying to keep it simple, since you say it's worst when you hit reverse. I don't actually know what the linkages look like in your setup, just throwing it out there... [ Post made via BlackBerry ] http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/imag...

Re: 98 rude dies in rev
When you say the carbs have been gone through, do you mean cleaned, adjusted, or both? If it works better when you choke it, doesn't that mean it's running way lean?

Re: Slow out of the hole?
Before I bought my 'Stream, I was looking at a 26' Baja with 2 of those motors on it. When the guy took me out he really took his time putting around before he brought it up on plane. When he finally did, he said "yeah, these motors don't seem to like to get out of the hole unless they're good ...

Stupid question, but I've been caught.... Shifter in neutral position? There's an interrupt circuit, right?

Re: Vision setup
Thanks for all the help. Now that I know what I'm looking for, I'll search locally first. 100 bucks plus the ride might end up costing more than what I can find here. (I can't imagine shipping being less than another 80-100 bucks). If not, I'll explore other options. Thanks again! [ Post made via Bl...

Re: Vision setup
Good to know, I'd rather have the bad news than unknowingly cause harm.... I'll keep the speeds under 60 and look for a better system. Don't know how much more I can spend on her this year, but I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks! [ Post made via BlackBerry ] http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/images/mobil...

Re: Vision setup
The black section says "Teleflex Marine Mfg USA" and the silver section shows made in Canada lol. The black piece also says GT, if that means anything. Couldn't open that link on my Crackberry, and my computer's down right now :( [ Post made via BlackBerry ] http://www.hydrostreamforums.co...

Re: Vision setup
I'll poke my head under the dash right now while I can. We're supposed to be getting terrible thunderstorms any time, otherwise I'd be on the lake lol

Re: Vision setup
Is there a part number, or series type that I should look for? Like I said, mine is a teleflex system, I see many other boaters use teleflex, do they build both types?
