question: is it better to use a manufactured boat wiring harness or just wire everything from scratch?
im starting from a blank slate, need to wire gauges, nav lights, interior lights, bildge pump, fuel pump, etc.
any suggestions on a particular harness?

Myself I like to wire everything that way I know how long or short to make the wire, but that's just me. Have you gotten your top hull painted?

You will have to make it, there isn't anyone making them aftermarket.

i ran across this just browsing, wasnt sure if it was something that would make life much easier or wouldnt work or cause headaches.
i like the idea of doing it myself, making a list now of proper awg wire to use

That's kind of cool, I can see where that would be handy.

This is why when I cut up aboat for the junk pile usually a big crusier I keep all the wiring for future use .
It comes in handy . I like the looks of the link you posted thought might work in the boat Im working on next.
