I found a used 23P Mercury Laser 2 prop that I'm considering buying as I think the design and pitch would be good for my set-up. I have a Viper with an 1976 Mercury 850. The question; Will it fit? They are both 15 spline (Laser and the Merc), just not sure if they match-up and/or shaft length. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this?

you need to know whether it is a v-6 or inline prop first, the hub sizes are different.
