Where are you in NH? I could do a road trip depending where you are. There is a cupped 13 3/4 x28 chopper over the hub for 300 in the Berkshire in western ma. Im new to this prop set up and the more I seem to read the more confused I seem to get. I understand some about pitch but what about diameter change? Is small dia and more pitch same as large dia and less pitch? Either way I am interested in one of those props.

The Merc big ear for 225 is a no brainer, hard to find a better deal. The one for 300 in Mass is probably a cut down small ear, and probably won't perform well. Small ear Choppers were a lighter casting, with more narrow blades than the newer big ear, and were more prone to breakage.
