Clean Wiring from motor after splashwell delete

Post: # 18662Post VultureNo2 »

I am just completing a splashwell delete after a new transom. I want to have a good clean look to the wiring from the motor to the boat. I've seen some pictures where a piece of hose similar to a shop vac was used. My question is, how do you attach that at the motor end. I have a good idea how to attach it to the boat already. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill

I was wondering the same thing. Also where to get the black hose? I'm interested if anyone has any input also.

Thanks

That's exactly the look I want. Do you have a link?

Does it fit in the existing opening on the motor or did you have to cut some away?

I really like that your back light is up on the deck. I will move mine after I get serious about a paint job some day. For now, it's all about structural and performance.

Are the wires in your picture just ground wires?

Just search rigging tube adapters on s&f. you'll find em. they fit directly in mine but I have an after market bottom pan. the holes in my pan were a lil too far to the out side so I did a lil Grinding to make fit.

not sure what wires you are referring to..... the 2 in the middle are brake lines I used for my hydro steering

Cause sadly there is nothing to report. Between the weather, no garage (Working on finding that right now actually), and some other issues, its been a big no go so far this year. I will get it done if it kills me though.

I completed the Re-core a couple of years ago and held off on the transom. Here is my original recore thread

http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=373

After the re-core I opened another thread when I rigged the boat.

http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1176

that was back in 2011

I have been taking pictures as I go, but haven't had a chance to download my pictures. When I get a chance, I will post them.

Bill :D
