Your doing really good if your seeing 85.6 with a stock 2.4 merc what rpms are you getting with the 27 srx?

When you are running the lower unit even with the pad, how does it do when you are carrying a few people in the boat? Does the prop slip a lot at low/mid speeds? I run 1" under the pad, and I don't seem to run any faster on top end if I run it even with the pad, but it sure does seem like the prop can get more bite, more lift, and not slip as much coming out of the hole if I run it at 1" under.
