I have some ?'s already before I start doing a bunch of cutting what is the best way to support the hull on the trailer how many runners do I need and where is the best place for them to be for support while I am replacing the core I kn that is many hrs of grinding away but I want to make sure I do it the right way bc I don't feel the current runners are in the correct place for support

Oh yeah a pic of the windshield sitting on the boat to give me some inspiration to help me make it through this rebuild seeing my vector didn't have one when I purchased it

Re: a wild hair thats going to make me itchy
I did my viper on a 6 bunk trailer, my vking was done hanging from the ceiling in my shop. I would check them at each step to be sure they stayed straight.

Don't know if it's already planned, but remove the motor too. They get pretty weak with the core out.

Ok I will make sure to keep the bottom the way it is supposed to be and check it many times as I go through the core procces. I didn't really get very much done today. I got the motor off and put on a stand as well as the jack plate and then pulled all my steering and all other wires out and hung up in the rafters off the shop. I then took the boat down to a friends shop. Were we are going to lift the boat off the trailer and add some more bunks to the trailer to give the ole girl a good supportive resting place for the rebuild. I Hope this doesn't take very long! Hopefully mine and his schedules will work out and I can get back to cutting and grinding.
