Hydrostream Hustlers pics with Chrysler Stacker racers !!!!!

I have 3 Hydrostream Hustler Vpads.......My first Hustler recieved a 105hp Chrysler with racing gearfoot no stacks ....That Hustler( not shown here) reached 70mph at 6000 rpm and handled so well, I decided to dig out my other Factory Chrysler racers from my collection and put them on the 2 remaining Hydrostream Hustlers

The pictures below are of my remaining 2 Hydrostream Hustlers 11.6 ft boats........I removed the Johnson 75 Stinger outboards and placed a 135hp Stacker Racer on the Green Boat and then added a 150hp Chrysler Stacker Racer to the Red Boat

Chrysler made 2 Factory Race engines in the 70's ......The 135hp Stacker Racer and the 150hp Stacker Racer......

These motors have all been test run and the Boats all handle well.........Motors are 225 lbs and spin 6000 rpm......These are direct drive gear cases that are 7% overdrive from the factory........I am running 16pitch-- 2 blade Chrysler Racing props..........I upgraded the Motorola ignitions and the dual pumps in each outboard....timing is set at 32..........Gas used is 50/50 Jet Blue mixed with premium with 50 to 1 oil mix

The 150 has 190 lbs compression from the factory

The 135 has 180 lbs compression from the factory

Neither motor came from the factory with tilt and trim

According to Howard Pipkorn, less than 10 Hydrostream Vpads were built between 1984 thru 90....all pre 84 Hustlers are tunnel boats

Factory racing Chrysler Stacker outboards are very rare ....Stack filler blocks and stacks are water cooled

Factory cowls with exhaust cut outs have been removed

Motor height /Gearcase point is 1 inch below the hull

Prop number P411

Chrysler also made the 105 and 120 in racing form.......Stacks did not come with those outboards
