Dug out the old bow eye mount and freshend it up with some new wood and an aluminum backing plate. Hope it never happens, but, pretty sure I could pull it up off of the bottom of the lake by the bow eye.

Finished installing the stringers. Once they were glassed to the hull and the motorboard, a bulkhead was made to secure the stringers both laterally and vertically. The bulkhead was glassed to the transom and the stringers were glassed to the bulkhead. Should be pretty stout. More glass was laid down on the bottom, between the stringers, to straighten and strengthen the bed before the new core goes in.

That thing is going to be built like a tank, nice and strong. Love the bulkhead to tie the stringers together.

The bulkhead will also serve as a "ledge" to glass the splashwell to, giving even more strength to the back of the boat.
