Finally beginning to see an almost finished project. Test fitting the bulk of the hardware, getting the boxes of accumulated Mercury parts assembled and also getting the engine a little run time on the hose. Now just have to finish the deck work and install the gages and it should be ready to float!

Easy there boss.
Lack of a garage and this zero degree weather that has included snow has put a hold on things until spring but I'm getting so close!

The stock anodized frame and the fiberglass windshield needed freshened up, so put a phantom black finish to match the rear of the boat.

Saw your paintjob over on S&F Joe. Looks good. It would look even better if it was posted here too
.
Also, for those of us who might be looking at painting our own boats, could you tell us what your setup was? Type of gun, brand and type of paint, compressor size, etc.? Thanks! I'm debating doing actual gelcoat for mine, but have heard the horror stories of people who shot gel and regretted it.

Adam, There is an additive you put in the gelcoat and it sprays out like car paint. I use a $19.99 harbor freight gun and go for it. If you start a thread on this, I will reply with pictures and more info.
