A Vulture update. A year later and the core and transom are removed and I’m ready to start the rebuild. Unfortunately our cottage project is taking longer than I expected. There has been absolutely no time to work on the Vulture I’m sad to say. I’ve been thinking of turning the project over to John Speath at Hydrostream Canada since I just don’t see a time in the near future to work on it. Time and money are both in short supply these days so it looks like she’ll have to wait. It’s killing me to see it unfinished. I hope to have better news soon.

I feel ya 100%. I have been staring at mine, unfinished, for YEARS and its killing me. Im finally getting SUPER close and hopefully this coming spring.

Just dont give up on it!

I just bought my first ever hydrostream!!! It is a vulture and I'm just trying to figure out how to do a recore and transom. Any tips would be great.

Check out the link "Project Vulture" in my signature. There are a lot of other resto topics in here too that should help and if you have any questions, just ask. Also, the VKIng has the same core layout as the Vulture. There are other like the Vegas V bottom that are pretty much the same as well.
