I am looking at NidaCore H8PP honeycomb . Image Image Image Has anyone out there used this kinda stuff.??

Whats the cost difference on that vs standard core? I thought about going with that as well to avoid any future rot but Im not sure what I am going to do just yet.

just bought a1980 Vector needs recore and floor . has a 115 Evenrude .

I would look more at a closed cell type. The strength comes more from the laminant, not the matrial used. Anything that soaks up a lot of resin is going to weigh a ton. jmo :boating:

Hey Keith, you've come a long way! the worst looks almost over...the fun is laying new composites down. I would also look at Owens Knytex if Nida does not work out for you. I have used the NidaFoam with good results. it does saturate if resin is heavily applied though it doesn't need much to perform as designed. Scream and Fly is knowledge central for this topic. I have to agree about the motor.....go get it! :up:
