I lost count of resin. I think I an close to 20 gallons bought, have 2 gallons of waxed and one gallon of unwaxed left. Had at least a total of 2 gallons gone bad over the winters.

After finding out the last piece of core didn't take, I decided to only put 4 feet down on other side. The curve in the forward bow change from concave to convex in the last couple of feet so I will have to flip the core mat down. After I fill the voids around the core I will lay down 1708 with waxed resin because it was a sticky mess laying on the core with unwaxed resin still tacky. This will give me a good finished surface to lay the last couple of feet.

I can't believe it has been a year since posting progress. Where does time go? My wife bought me a 1989 Quantum fish and ski off e-bay for $455 with 150 hp force and trailer. I checked compression and had 175 on all 5. I invested $40 on spark plugs, fuel line, and impeller. She started right up. Wanting to see how it would do under load so took her for a ride getting 42 mph WOT out of the water logged slug. I don't think the set up was right with the cavitation plate being 3 inches below water line on plane. Now I have completely stripped it getting steering, wiring harness, gauges, grab bars, and cleats which all will be used on the Vector. I have now put the Vector on the trailer for a test fit. I don't like the position of bunks to hull so it looks like modification is in the future.
