I never thought to look there. Just might be able to fit the paint into the budget if I can find the right color at the right price.

Coupe this boat has had a lot of motors on it. that was the last one. It will now have a vintage mod vp motor with a little love. Ok well here is were I'm at now. I have installed and wired the gauges, lights and ran the engine harness and shift/throttle cables. I have to install the trim pump fuel and wire them. mock up and mount the fuel system mount the jack plate, and tie up loose ends. here are some pics

The boat looks great. I know this goes back a ways in your thread, but I was wondering if you could give me a ballpark as to how many hours you have into the replacement of the transom and splashwell? I am assuming you replaced the transom. Was the splashwell desigh just for looks, or did you do it because it made it easier to get the transom out? Also, was the transom below the floor line or could I do core and floor this year and get the transom next year? I want it done right but also want to boat this summer. Conserned that if I tackle transom also it will delay using it this summer. I think I could get another year out of the transom with the 150 Mercury on it, and rebuild next year before a bigger motor followed by a paint job after that. Your thoughts please. Bill
