Great pictures. Nice progress on the boat. I was on the phone with Teleflex today also. I didn't have my steering wheel with me when he called me back, so I never really got an answer from him. Were you able to get cables that could still fit with the original wheel? If so, can you pass along some of the part numbers. If not, what have you decided to use? Any input will be a help. Bill

The problem wasn't with the cables it was with the helm. I ended up having to rob the rideguide setup from my Vector to use the hydrostream wheel. The hydrostream wheel has a square insert that mounts on the helm. The teleflex helm had a tapered and keyed mount that just wouldn't work with the wheel. It was important to me to have the boat look original so I didn't want to go with an aftermarket wheel.
I'm just postponing the inevitable since I will eventually have to go through this all over again when I rig my Vector. I'm wondering if teleflex might make an adapter for it.

Thanks for the steering advise. Love the way it turned out. Hope it catches everything on the lake.
