Rick I know you can't wait to get her in the water. The work turned out great, i hope mine turns out half that good. Do you recall what brand foam you used as core? Did you vacuum bag it in?

I put my KeyWest in the other day when the temp. hit mid 60's just for a ride but water temp. was still below 40 making it too cold to be comfortable.

Looks good man

It's 46 outside now. I'm headed to the shop to get some trimming done.

Well, I,ve been very busy this month so I pulled a nooner yesterday to wet the boat. 25 mph wind gusts and all. Took it to St. Clair and launched where the wind was offshore. OMG The thing sounds like an empty beer can and is so light! Engine ran great. It all worked! Finally. Due to the wind I couldn't get it flat out and didn't fly the bow to high, but I hit 7000 rpms, speedo don't go that high and no gps. I need a prop. I'm just glad it all worked. It was worth not having a boating season in 2009. Can't wait to get it on calm water with no wind!

Nice Rick. I wish I was there myself. Got some more done last night. It's slow, but I'm working by myself these days. Family is visiting the east coast for about a month. Hope to finish the recore within the next couple of months. Bill

Bill, I know what you mean. If it ain't one thing, it's the other that holds you up on progress. You'll get there!
