The bottom is single stage flat black, the top is a waterborn base with metallic in the blue, the stripes are pure metallic then the clear is a high end automotive. All together there is about a grand in paint but this thing glows in the sun, I'll get the regular camera out tomorrow.

It's been real slow going this last week, I'm waiting on my block from Ruck and some extra time to finish the inside before I paint it. I was hoping to be on the water this weekend but I think I will be lucky if it's next weekend. I did finish sanding, buffing and polishing it tonight I can't wait to see it in the sun.

Man I hate being so busy in the summer, I 'm so far behind it's sickening. I'm pushing as hard as I can to have it in the water this weekend but I have my block in my truck and I still need to assemble that, my used jackplate I had is bent so I had to order another one. So last night I needed a little motivation so I threw some parts on it so I could at least see what it would look like.

Stiffener rings and rod notches cut in the 280.


I did get the transom and dash painted late Sunday night


I just had to mound the mid.


I hope to start rigging tomorrow night, but for now the gauges are in place.
