Thanks Ron, that's what's so good bout this forum,someone always looking out for the other guy. I did read that somewhere before but forgot all about it till you said something. Quick question about your viper, did you have to grind all the way through the gel coat to clean Fiberglas before you laid your glass to the hull?

No you don't ,........however, I would strongly suggest 16-24 grit to get the proper "tooth" to adhere to. Remember, DO NOT wipe the surface with any chemical after grinding!! You can blow, brush, or dry wipe. Any chemicals will disolve the fiberous resin hairs and fold over.

Just a couple basics to "try to follow" and have fun!!!

The Dewalt is my favorite with 16 grit. Not much dust. Chunks fly!!
