I made some more progress today, didnt get much done yesterday, had to bring my children to the Circus. Started off by dry tabbing in the inside of the stringers, then dry fitted the core,bedded them in and sealed them up.

A question to anyone who has done more glass work than me. Do I need to grind the glass that I already have already laid before I glass anymore, since the last time I worked on it was in August. Patrick

Yes just a light grind to get the fibers on the top.

Looking good there. Nice clean work!!!

One thing I noticed that might help. "prime" the wood with resin and let dry before you glass to it. If not, the wood will soak in the resin and pull it away from the fiberglass. You will know this is happening if you see white spots appear after it dries. This also applies to the Balsa. (seals the end grain)
I actually add a "splash" of acetone to allow it to penetrate the wood deeper. You can double the hardner for this part if you want.
