1980 factory vking comp!!

my friend pulled this back to texas last night!! he's selling his stv and coming to join the stream team!!

IM JEALOUS!

this thing is super clean. no cracks no dings. rub rail almost perfect. no rot!! look how clean the dash wood is.

Jealous...me too. :mrgreen: You don't see many comp Vkings, especially down here.

I like the plate. Got any info on it? I guess setback won't be necessary with the lighter hull.

Wow, that thing looks great! And already set up with dual opposed steering! Will be cool to see it rigged and going!

that plate is super simple. it has one 1/8 " plate on trans that acts as a slide. the outer plate is 1/2" maybe 5/8". has 4 slots for the trans bolts to run through... one fir the splashwell drain. the motor mount bolts are counter sunk.

that ride guide system is like butter!

it came with original steering wheel and an external mounted speedo.... pretty cool stuff.

he's gonna rig it with a heavily modded carb 200. hopefully making 240ish hp

Sory noob here, what's the difference between comp vking and vking?! I'am from Canada and have seing the difference between Canadian vking edition and us version. Other then floorless and can't tell thé difference for the term 'comp'

Comp has 4 to 6 stringers and most don't have a floor, the steering is in the center. There will be others that will post more on them
