You are correct it's a 79, it was dark when I bought it and I haven't looked at it since.

I have been working 10+ hour days for the last month and quite honestly I haven't been all that motivated on this project. I think once the viper is put away I will get into it. So far I have started to cut it apart and am planing. I'm going to go center steer with one seat behind the driver. I'm going to bring the sides in similar to a xr allison but that's still in the planning stages.

Here is what I've got done, and a little teaser pic.

Man there is a lot of foam in this thing.

A fresh 280 that I just got back from ruck, I have a set of 260 electronics and a brucato acu for fine tuning. If it isn't fast enough I'll put a nitrox kit on this one too, it worked great on the little 2.4

That's up to you. It's just for floatation when you flip your boat over. I am going to leave what's left in mine but won't replace it if it comes out.

Chet, that a lot of foam! Was that just from the side foam boxes or was some of that from under the floor too?

So far that's about half of what is in there between the foam boxes and under the gunnels.

There is still the foam under the floor.
