IN SEARCH OF A VECTOR.....

Post: # 13119Post TNRIVERRAT »

I am looking for a Vector. I am wanting one that has already been gone through. No motor but rigging would be nice. With or without interior. Really looking for a project with all the glass(hard :D ) work alreasdy done. I am in TN and would prefer one within 500 miles of here. Thanks everyone. If you have one or know where I can find one send me a message or a text at 931-215-9676.

Hi:

We have a '77 Vector but it has a Merc 150hp on it. We replaced the seat upolstry last year and put in a new hydrolic trim unit and guages in it. All of the work was done by a professional at our local marina.

No fiberglass work has ever been done. The floor and transom seem fine and normal to me. I don't know how to check it there is a problem? Original black carpet.

The red sparkle finish is sun faded and there are a couple of cracks in the windshield. Runs a tad under 60mph. $2800 :boating:

Thanks

Been eye balling that one Russ. Did the mapquest on it and it's right at 1000 miles from me. But I like it a lot. Found one in Mobile, Al but can't the guy to send me the pictures on it. But I will find one eventually.

I found it on CL. It's a little more complete than what I'm looking for but it's a beautiful Vector for sure. By that I mean I'm really looking for just hull and maybe rigging. No interior or anything. They seem to get above my price range if they are all they way complete and I want to kinda have some project aspect left if that makes any sense. But really appreciate the heads up. If you run across any others please let me know. Y'all will know when I find one cause I will load the forum up with questions and photos :D
