Looks like Spaeth by the location.

Hydrostream of Canada, he still builds them. Those little ones must be an insurance liability nightmare.

Phone number's on the add! I feel the pwc market really drove these out, which is too bad, cuz I remember as a small kid quite a few of them were in my neighbourhood, and I thought they were the coolest....

I just called the number; it's John Spaeth and his son Chris (as indicated above). It turns out that he built my '94 Voodoo! Pretty cool. In fact, he said he still has THE mold my boat came off of. As for the mini, he told me a bottom dollar price of $1500; seems like a good deal. He says that other than the odd race version, they just don't build the Voodoo anymore. I asked him about the build of mine. He (Chris) said it was hand-laid with hand-laid balsa core. He says now they vacuum bag the core on the bigger boats, but they don't use balsa at all anymore on the Voodoo. They just add extra fiberglass and/or stringers. Great to talk to him and I'm thinking about going by and seeing his place this summer while up that way at the cottage. -Chris
