Re: Chet ?
After pulling a all nighter it was race ready. I thought all was good to go but had battery problems in the morning, luckily Rich Surnec was there so I could buy another set.
My first pass I was hoping for mid 80s but was pleasantly surprised with a 96mph run. The second pass was raining so hard I couldn't see where I was going and only managed 86. on my last run the battery voltage dropped and I didn't know it, I thought I popped the motor running it hard with about a hour and a half of break in time. I managed a 80mph run them TNT motor quit at the end of the run.
All in all it was a great time, I need to start working on setup now I had the propshaft 1" below the pad thinking I was closer to even.
