Let's think/talk Hydrostream - Now!!!

Post: # 21423Post bj71chevelle »

Hey people, I'm being completely honest when I say that I'm pretty much sick of winter by now, even though it hasn't been a brutal winter by any means. I am constantly thinking how cool it's going to be when Spring finally arrives and all of you out there in "Hydrostream Land" start talking and discussing all things Hydrostream. I am new to the Forum and visit it every day. I understand that winter means a "slow down" in the boating world, but man am I anxious to read up to date threads and discussions and view more pictures. I have read EVERY post on this forum and I'm craving more. This is an awesome forum for sure. I'm hoping this will encourage all of you to start posting!!!!! Can you tell I'm dying for warmer (boating weather) to come????? I'm done now. Post away! :D

Hi. I to am new to this site also. I just got this and am winter sick as well. Can't wait to see what problems arise that I can bring to the table. Not looking to do a restoration yet but will be fixing up all small issues.

My boat is far from ready to go boating but hoping to be on the water this year finally.

Good news is, the floor should be in it sometimes this week. Replaced the transom, core, stringers, and floor.

Both boat look great guys. What a deal for the money you spent Don B. Good for you!!! Hippie459MN, I can hardly wait to see the finished product. I have been following your build(s) with great anticipation. Looking forward to seeing another Vulture restored. :boating:
With the weather getting warmer here in Southern Ontario, it's starting to feel a lot like Spring. I'm hoping to find time to work on the Vulture. Not possible to get it on the water this summer, but I will definitely be watching for other Hydrostreams on lakes around Ontario - Rice Lake certainly comes to mind. Come on summer!

Well, someone did a total hack job using the way wrong materials when doing a "core" job before I bought it so it was a nightmare to say the least! If your core is original, it will probably come out pretty easy. Had my boat had the original core in it, it would have been a weekend tear out job, not weeks and weeks and weeks.

P.S. My guy just sent me a picture and the floor is down in my boat!!!!!!!! :majesty: :naughty: :pimp: :boating: :hydros:
